Need to find a needle in a haystack? No sweat. Use a powerful magnet. Now that's leverage!

where content meets style
Welcome budding author and congratulations on moving one step closer to your dream!

You're about to set sail on one of the most thrilling journeys of your life, but before we push off, allow us to first debunk one of the greatest myths of authorship.

Authors DO NOT become overnight celebrities or millionaires

In fact, very few authors can bear testimony to enjoying a seven-figure bank balance or being blinded by paparazzi cameras. And even if you are destined to become the next literary legend, fame and fortune doesn't come swiftly. Like many before you, it may take countless ‘forgettable' books before you finally strike gold.

So why do people still take the plunge? Simply put, and in one word, passion. As George Orwell wryly remarked, "Writing a book is a long exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness, and one would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven by some demon one can neither resist nor understand."

Writing a book is neither as easy nor as difficult as you think. On one hand, it's more than just stringing together coherent sentences, slotting in visuals and framing a catchy title. On the other, it's nowhere near slaving for weeks over a paragraph, throwing away numerous drafts and in the process wasting half a forest and winding up a recluse. Writing a book is a process of self-discovery.

It's a voyage that will leave you acutely aware of your strengths and weaknesses. There will be days when the winds are still and your boat barely bobs. On those days you will have to tirelessly shift the sail until it catches even the slightest breeze and get back on course again. Then there will be days when the forces of nature are on your side and your boat glides effortlessly. On those days, you will have to write your heart out.

But out of all the aspiring authors visiting this page, less than a quarter will end up writing and publishing their book. Why? Because while talent is helpful in writing, guts and steely determination are absolutely essential. And that's where Leverage Publishing comes in.

Writing a book is a formidable task for all first-timers. Our role is to ease you into it by helping you set goals, getting you through writer's block and cheering you on. And since we believe that authors should understand both the writing and publishing process, we will involve you at every stage from writing and editing to layout and design. We also offer a variety of publishing packages. So whether you have a whole manuscript, a few chapters, a couple of paragraphs or just an idea, there is a starting point to meet your needs. You can even choose to seek our help for just one aspect of the publishing process instead of selecting an entire package.

So take your time studying our publishing map. If you like what you see and believe we would be good traveling companions, we would be more than happy to come on board.

Until then, thank you for visiting and we look forward to hearing from you!
